I wanted to capture the feeling of diving deep into the ocean and discovering a hidden world below. Looking down into a cave that fades into the abyss, with colorful octopi peeking out along its edges, all existing together within their community. This was my first ever artwork using markers I created myself to achieve the scale of this piece.

The octopi are inspired by the Pacific Striped Octopus, one of the few known octopus species observed living together in groups.

Ink & Marker on Paper

This one-of-a-kind original artwork is created on high-quality 100 lb paper. The artwork is carefully placed in a protective sleeve to protect the surface, then secured with a sturdy backing for additional support if not framed. Every original includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
